◆神楽(かぐら)(kagura)= the song and dance for the Japanese spirits(Gods)
◇祭典の際、神を慰めるために奉納される歌舞のこと。起源は神代の昔、天照大神が天の岩戸に籠もった際、天鈿女命(あまのうずめのみこと)が岩戸の前で舞を踊ったことにあるとされる。
A long time ago, 天照大神(Amaterasu: the one of the great Japanese spirit) hid itself in the cave. So Japanese spirits held a banquet, they sang and danced for Amaterasu front of the cave. That’s the origin of the Kagura.
